A lovely, mild, conditioning soap that is also a wonderful shampoo bar. From head to toe, you'll luxuriate in hemp's wonderfully calming, anti-bacterial and moisturizing qualities. The organic hemp oil is a local Canadian product from Peterborough County.
Jane, after trying three other natural shampoo bars we finally found one we love - YOURS! Our hair is clean, shiny, full of life, and for the first time in my life, I don't need a 'conditioner'. Your shampoo bar does it all. And, by the way, it beat out "Burt's Bee's" shampoo bar which we will now use to wash the dog! Thanks again. Jeff & Colleen Weber, Harwood
"I've been using Smallbones' hemp oil soap for the past while - I find it's much easier on my skin than commercial soaps - leaves it soft and not dried out. I also use it for shampoo - for my hair and my beard! And I don't even need to use conditioner, even on my very kinky beard! Highly recommended." Richard Shapcott, Gore's Landing
Ingredients: Saponified organic virgin red palm oil, organic hempseed oil, organic virgin coconut oil, extra virgin cold-pressed olive oil, castor oil, rain water and honey. (The "pumpkin pie" colour comes from the organic virgin red palm oil -- traditionally made with the natural carotenes and antioxidants retained. This oil does not contribute to the environmental damage being caused by the enormous growth of palm plantations. The oil is native to West Africa where it has been produced on small family farms for hundreds of years. My source is certified by the African Wildlife Society for preserving wildlife and has received an award for promoting sustainable agriculture. No child labour is allowed and there is a firm commitment to social values and the environment in West Africa.)
