Authentic hand-dipped beeswax tapers
I don't use a mold. I prefer the time-honoured method, dipping approx. 30 times in a custom made stainless steel vat. It takes much longer, but the results are worth it!
• These truly hand-crafted candles are no more expensive than molded tapers.
• Beeswax tapers burn at a much slower rate than paraffin, less than 1" per hour, making then more economical than you would first think.
• Do your inferior quality wax tapers burn for more than 12 hours?
• Need a particular circumference and/or height? I'm happy to dip custom-sized tapers for you.

The candle on the left is a premium paraffin candle; on the right is a Smallbones' taper.
• The test began at 7:45 a.m.
• At 3:30 p.m., the Smallbones' pure beeswax candle still had about five hours to burn and didn't drip at all (total 12 3/4 hours burn time)!
• It also smelled wonderful and added beneficial ions to the air, while the paraffin candle made a mess and gave off toxic fumes for 7 3/4 hours.
