Tapers
Authentic hand-dipped beeswax tapers. Rather than use a mold, I prefer the old-fashioned method, dipping approx. 30 times in a custom made stainless steel vat. It takes much longer, but the results are worth it!
• These truly hand-crafted candles are no more expensive than molded tapers.
• Beeswax tapers burn at a much slower rate than paraffin, less than 1" per hour, making then more economical than you would first think.
• Do your inferior quality wax tapers burn for more than 12 hours?
• Need a particular circumference and/or height? I'm happy to dip custom-sized tapers for you.

- Different sizes of pillars make an attractive arrangement.
• Made by hand one at a time.
• Beeswax pillars should be burned until the melted wax pool nears the edge each time (1.5-2 hours).
• Burn tapers, votives or tealights if expected time is shorter.
Votives
- • Smallbones' beeswax votives are 1 1/2" x 2".
• Approximate burn time is 10-12 hours.
• A flame that is wavering back and forth is a sign of insufficient air flow, resulting in inefficient combustion and shortened burn time.
• A non-flammable candle plate or saucer is preferable to most votive holders, which restrict air flow.
- • Smallbones' beeswax tealights burn 3 1/2-5 hours
• Beeswax doesn't fill your air with toxins.
• Do not place in a container that will restrict air flow.
• Burn in a tealight cup on a heat resistant surface.
Let the light shine through!
• Reusable tealight cups help reduce waste going to landfills.
• Hint: Put a very small amount of water in the bottom of the cup before adding the tealight to make cleaning a breeze.

Other Candlesticks & Accessories
An assortment of candlesticks, candle plates and wick trimmers make Smallbones a one-stop destination for indulging a passion for candles. Beeswax is a wonderful gift from the bees and Mother Nature - good for you and your environment!

The candle on the left is a premium paraffin candle; on the right is a Smallbones' taper. • The test began at 7:45 a.m.
• At 3:30 p.m., the Smallbones' candle still had about five hours to burn and didn't drip at all!
• It also smelled wonderful and added beneficial ions to the air, while the paraffin candle made a mess and gave off toxic fumes for 7 3/4 hours.
